Shrimp Phyllo Appetizers
Filling:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 pound shrimp
- 2 tbsp chives, chopped
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- Salt & Pepper
- 8 sheets of phyllo
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Directions
- Saute the garlic in the butter. Then stir in the flour and cook for another minute. Add in the cream and stir until thick. Finally, add in the shrimp, chives, salt & pepper.
- Fold the phyllo sheets so they are 6”x6” brushing each layer with melted butter. Put a ‘blob’ of filling in the center of each square and fold into triangles. Seal and brush top with melted butter.
- Bake at 400oF for 15-20 mins. until browned.
