Scottish Shortbread

1 cup sugar
1 cup corn starch
1 lb butter
5 cups flour

  1. Combine the sugar, corn starch and butter together in a bowl.
  2. Kneed in flour in 1/2 cup increments until desired consistentcy is obtained.
  3. Roll out into cookies or roll out and prick with fork.
  4. Cook at 300oF for 1hr.
