Miriam’s Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Ingredients

  • 6 cups potatoes (cubed)
  • 1 medium onion (minced)
  • 1/2 lb ham (cubed)
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese

Method

  1. Combined potatoes, ham and onion in slow cooker.
  2. In a sauce pan, melt butter.  Add flour until bubbly.  Slowly add milk and cook until thickened. Add cheese until melted.
  3. Pour over potatoes mixture
  4. Cook 6 hrs on low, or 3 hours on high
