Best Ever Macaroni and Cheese

2 Cups Macaroni
2 Cups Cheese (cheddar or mozerella)
1 Cups Old Chedar Cheese (for flavor)
2 Eggs
2 Cups Milk
1 Tbsp Onion (chopped)
1 tsp Salt
¼ tsp Pepper
1 Cup Corn Flakes (crushed)
2 Tbsp Butter

  1. Cook Macaroni (for about 6 mins, you still want it to have some consistency).
  2. Combine cheese together.
  3. Beat eggs, milk, onion, salt & pepper.
  4. Place ½ of the macaroni in a 1½ quart casserole and sprinkle with ½ of the cheese mixture.
  5. Place the remaining macaroni on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the egg mixture (step 3) over top.
  7. Sprinkle with Corn Flakes and dot with butter
  8. Set casserole in a pan of hot water in the oven
  9. Bake at 350°F for about 50 mins (or until golden brown)

Variations:

  • Add some bacon
  • Add a clove of garlic
  • Use leek with/or to replace the onion
